Our Year 12 students visited the Olympic Park on the 6th March as part of their studies on the impact of regeneration on both people and the environment.

The trip provided an opportunity for students to practice their fieldwork data collection skills, gathering insights into how redevelopment has shaped the area since the 2012 Olympic Games. They explored sustainability initiatives, urban renewal projects, and the social effects of regeneration on local communities.

Miss Taylor and Mrs Goddard commended the students for their exemplary behaviour throughout the trip. The visit was made even more enjoyable by the lovely sunny weather, creating ideal conditions for their research.

The fieldwork experience is expected to enhance students’ understanding of urban geography and real-world applications of regeneration schemes.
