Post 18 Preparation
Preparation for University and Employment
Preparing to go to university or straight into employment, apprenticeship or training can be a daunting prospect for many students. Here at Woodcote Sixth Form we aim to provide all our students with the support they will need to manage this transition to the next stage of their lives. Ranging from giving support in the practical aspects of deciding what courses and careers they wish to pursue, navigating their way through UCAS and apprenticeship applications, writing personal statements and learning about financial management and personal safety, we aim to assist all in their choices, whatever they may be.
Please read through carefully the below Results Day PDF document as it tells students what to do on A-Level Results Day and gives them clear instructions as to their next steps, whatever their results.
We also recently hosted a virtual UCAS Preparation event aimed at supporting our Year 12 students and their Parents/Carers as they begin planning their Post-18 pathways. Please click here to view the recorded live video. You can read the full article here and also view the presentation here.
