Our annual Sports Day last week was a massive success – full of energy, competitiveness, and incredible House spirit! Students from Years 7 to 10 took part in a thrilling morning of mixed activities including rounders, dodgeball and an exciting obstacle course.

Later in the day, the focus shifted to the track, where the competition heated up even more. Students sprinted and raced their hearts out, cheered on by their peers waving colourful, creative banners made earlier in Tutor Groups.

A special mention goes to Matilda in Year 8 who set a new school record in the 300m race with a time of 45.6 seconds. Meanwhile, Oliver in Year 9 and Holly in Year 10 broke their records with a 35m javelin throw and 1.45m high jump! Year 8 student, Anna, also amazed everyone with her incredible speed and stamina, setting a new school record in the 800m with a time of 2:29.41.

Huge congratulations to all the students who took part – whether competing, cheering, or helping. Your energy and enthusiasm made the day unforgettable. And of course, a massive thank you to our staff and especially the PE Department, whose hard work and planning made it all possible.
