Thank you to all those who attended our very successful Sixth Form Taster Day on July 2nd. It was lovely to see so many Year 11s there, plus many new-joiners from other schools. This really was an opportunity to experience how different life as a Sixth Former is compared to being in lower school and the students were able to use our facilities in the Sixth Form area, as well as experience what an A level lesson will be like. All subjects were on offer, and the photographs show students in Biology & Product Design, as well as new subjects to all – Criminology and Applied Science. Students mixed with our current Year 12s who were exemplary representatives of our Sixth Form and then after lunch, there were team building activities, including who could make the tallest free-standing tower out of spaghetti and marsh-mallows!
