Last week, our incredible debating team of Raphael, Simrah and Karina went to London for the Mace English-Speaking Union Debating National Finals! They won all their previous heats, beating the likes of Woldingham and Wellington College. The last state school standing, representing the 96% of children who attend a state school, they did an amazing job making it through to the final round. Sadly, they were beaten by last year’s national champions Radley College. We are incredibly proud of their achievements. Thank you to Miss Taylor for her support but especially Miss Chadenga for the hours of support she has given to the team.
