It’s hard to believe how fast the last 5yrs have gone! On Friday 20th June, we welcomed back our Year 11s for one final celebration to mark the end of their time at Woodcote High.
The day was packed with laughter, memories, and plenty of emotion. Students took part in the classic shirt-signing tradition – leaving messages, inside jokes, and well-wishes for their friends. To top it off, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream treat!
One of the most memorable parts of the day was the Celebration Assembly. Staff and students looked back on their shared journey, from the first day of Year 7 to the final few days. There was lots of laughter during the staff video, and a few tears during the montage of memories from the past five years.
A huge surprise came in the form of a live performance by Mr Deale and the WHS Staff Band, who brought the house down with a Madonna classic!
We couldn’t be prouder of our Year 11s. You’ve grown so much, and we’re excited to see what you’ll do next. We can’t wait to welcome many of you back into Sixth Form in September.
