Yesterday, our Year 12 students visited the UCAS Discovery event held at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, a dynamic opportunity to explore a wide range of Post-16 and Post-18 options all in one place.

The event brought together universities, colleges, employers, and apprenticeship providers, giving students the chance to ask questions, gather insights, and gain valuable guidance as they consider their next steps. From discovering more about traditional university degrees to learning about apprenticeship routes and emerging career opportunities, students were encouraged to explore all possible pathways.

Throughout the day, our students attended expert-led talks, received tailored advice from qualified careers advisers, and engaged in meaningful conversations with industry professionals. The UCAS team were also on hand to provide dedicated support, helping students feel more confident about their futures.

This experience was a fantastic way for our Year 12s to begin shaping their plans and ambitions, and we look forward to seeing how the event has inspired their next steps.
