A Remarkable Achievement: Our Debate Team Reaches Finals Day!
On Wednesday 19th March, we had the privilege of hosting the Regional Final of the ESU (The English-Speaking Union) Mace Debate Competition, where our outstanding debate team – Karina, Raphael and Simrah – emerged victorious. Their hard-earned win means they will now advance to Finals Day on April 30th at Dartmouth House, where they will showcase their exceptional debating talents on the national stage.
What a journey it has been! From an initial field of 360 schools in November, our team has fought its way to the prestigious top 12.
Securing a place at Finals Day is no small feat, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication, skill, and perseverance.
This accomplishment is a testament to their hard work and passion for debate. Congratulations to our team – we can’t wait to see you shine!
