Last night, we held our annual Christmas Music Concert, which was a joyful celebration of the festive season, showcasing the incredible talent of our students across a spectrum of instruments and musical genres. From classical piano solos to contemporary band performances, the evening was a testament to the diverse musical abilities and hard work of our young musicians.
The event featured an array of performances, including violin duets, percussion ensembles, and vocal solos. Highlights of the evening included Bella’s solo performance of Walking in the Air on piano, Annalise and Rhea’s captivating duet of I Know What You Did Last Summer, and the Sixth Form Band’s lively rendition of Santa Claus is Coming to Town, which had everyone singing along! The evening concluded with an audience sing-along to The 12 Days of Christmas.
We extend a sincere thank you to all the parents for their unwavering support. Your encouragement and presence played a vital role in making this event a success. We also express our gratitude to the PTFA for their thoughtful provision of festive refreshments, which added to the evening’s warm and welcoming atmosphere.
A special thank you goes to Mr Harrow, our dedicated Head of Music, and the Music Department, whose tireless efforts and meticulous planning made this concert possible. Their commitment to nurturing our students’ musical abilities is truly inspiring and much appreciated.
